C&L Wood & Fiber Co. LLC is the natural evolution of a journey that began not in a workshop or studio, but on a piece of farmland purchased in 2017. What started as a vision for a more grounded, hands-on life quickly became a place of learning, experimentation, and growth. That farm became our classroom—teaching us patience, stewardship, problem-solving, and the value of creating things with care and intention. Over time, our work expanded from growing food to producing it, leading us into a commercial kitchen where we learned what it meant to build something for our community with consistency, quality, and pride.

As our skills grew, so did our curiosity. The same mindset that guided us through farming and food production—thoughtful design, durable materials, and respect for the process—naturally carried over into woodworking and fiber arts. C&L Wood & Fiber Co. was born from that progression. It represents not a departure from our roots, but a continuation of them: making practical, beautiful items by hand, using time-tested techniques alongside modern tools, and always keeping usefulness and longevity at the forefront.

Chris brings precision, design, and craftsmanship to the woodworking side of the business. Using CNC technology alongside traditional woodworking methods, he creates functional and gift-worthy wood products designed to be used every day—not just displayed. From boards and kitchen helpers to specialty pieces crafted with care, each item reflects a balance of modern accuracy and old-world durability. Every design begins with the question: Will this last, and will it truly be useful?

LeAnn brings warmth, creativity, and a deep eye for color and texture from her sewing room. Her work includes thoughtfully curated Fat Quarter fabric bundles—hand-selected for harmony, contrast, and inspiration—as well as pot-holders, custom sewn items, and handcrafted stuffed bears made to be cherished. One of her most loved creations is her microwave bowl cozy line, which we affectionately call “WarmNest Bowl Cozies”—designed to protect hands, retain heat safely, and add a touch of handmade comfort to everyday meals. Each sewn item is created with both function and beauty in mind, blending practicality with personal expression.

Later this year, we’re excited to take the next step in our journey by attending select market festivals and events, where we’ll introduce these new wood and fiber products directly to customers. These markets represent more than just sales opportunities—they are a chance to connect, share our story, and continue building something rooted in community and craftsmanship. Every product on our table reflects years of learning, adapting, and refining across multiple disciplines, all tied back to that original farm property that started it all.
